I'm looking into getting the Gorillapod Focus as an addition to my system, but i can't decide on which Giottos ball head i want to go with it. I want to go Giottos because i have their equipment with tripods. I'm looking at either the MH1001 ($85) or MH1002 ($60). I don't mind spending the extra money on the 1001 if it's going to do the job right. But which is the better of the 2, i want something that will be able to hold a longer lens, and that will give me maximum movement?

I just put a QR clamp mine. The pod is very flexible so it works fine.
