I have 2 430EX flash units, and have just started to really use OCF with my Cybersyncs. Really like them, but outside, the 430's sometimes lack in power. How do the Vivitar 285HV and the Ebay YN460 compare power-wise?
Thanks in advance.

430EX is close, but just a bit more powerful than the 285HV. If you really need the boost, try zooming to 105mm, or using a wider aperture. If that's still not doing the job (that sun sure is bright..) try using both flashes next to each other. Of course you could buy a 580 too... ($$$)

I thought it was the other way around. The 430EX II has a GN of 101.7' @ 35mm. The Vivitar 285HV has a GN of 120' at 35mm.
