Hi all,
Was just wondering what setting most sports shooters set their tracking sensitivity (Custom Function III - 2)on on their 1D MkIII's?
I've added a poll but feel free to comment too.
| POLL: "Which 1D MkIII - Tracking Sensitivity (C Fn III - 2) do you use?" |
0 - I leave it in the middle | 6 23.1% |
+ - Fast | 8 30.8% |
- - Slow | 12 46.2% |

Normal or on the slow side has always worked better for me. Now whether the timing figures are the same with the MkIII or not, I don't know, but I'd guess they're the same. The camera gets too jumpy on fast, and if you want it to change subjects you can simply release and re-press the shutter button to force it to reacquire. I find that more reliable that dragging it from subject to subject anyway. My personal stuff:http://www.flickr.com/photos/jngirbach/sets/
