This is Squeakers the mouse. She is about six months old, happy, and never holds still. It was very difficult in the low light to get a good photo of her.

Very friendly. Never bites.

I'm going to try to get some better pics. Her sister (same age and almost looks the same) is Oreo. My students named them. They go home with a different kid each weekend, so they are very used to people. Oreo runs away, but when picked up won't bite. Squeakers will walk into your hand. She likes people.

I just wish they'd control their poop a little better. It's odd because they always urinate in the exact same spot in their enclosure, but will poop anywhere they please, even in their food dish sometimes (or on a person).

I've learned to take them out, put them in a separate situation until they poop, and then play with them so they won't go on me.

Thank you. bw!

Awwwww that is wonderful that they are so use to people, I love the names too, they are great:D
It's hard getting them to sit still to take a good shot, I got my canon for a birthday gift 4 days ago so now I can take better shots and not miss opportunities:D
I'm still learning how to use it.
Can't wait to see more pics of Squeakers and Oreo:D
