Day 1 of Download 2005 is over and I'm exhausted!

Nice shots. I'm wondering if that guy in the stripes is trying to look like Kurt Cobain or if it's just coincidental.

Who is that in picture #1?
Btw, why is it called "Download 2005"?

WOW fantastifc pictures were you really close to the stage? Great pictures of Shirley Manson! I love her! Get some good ones of Velvet Revolver I Just LOVE Scott!

Oh and I thought Kurt Cobain when I saw that pic too!

Thanks for the comments! Yea, Grant Nicholas of Feeder, when I shooting it was kinda eiry (sp?) as he did look strangely like Kurt Cobain.

Oh, and the lady in #1 is Katie Jane Garside of Queen Andreena.

Yea, was up close with press access, albeit for just the first 3 songs of each act.

Can I assume that they are being ok with photographers?

Gear: 40D, 12-24mm AT-X Pro, 17-85mm, Sigma 150mm Macro Sigma 100-300 F4, 550EX, other stuff that probably helps me on my way.
