The latest in celebrity photoshop controversies took an odd spin today. First there was this --

Note how the upper part of her left thigh/hip is basically missing (our right). Did she have some sort of weird car accident that left a wedge of meat missing from it? The fabric even magically floats above the missing thigh. Ha

where it certainly looks like part of her hip was poorly 'shopped out. The photographer claimed on Twitter that this certainly was not his original image. Now today this:

Someone now says her entire torso was copied from another image. I looked closely at the two and I don't think this is the case. The fabric on the garments doesn't match up at all between them. I do think she is missing part of her hip, though.

That's shocking.

Not the Photoshopping, but the physical state of that model.

I guess Demi hasn't held the shape she had when she made Striptease.

She came out on stage (Letterman I think), whipped off the robe she was wearing over something skimpy and slinky and I just fell out of my chair! Gawd she looked so ripped that night.

Unfortunately, she probably DOES have a killer body... I bet she is in fantastic shape, especially for being in her late 40s. The ****ty thing is that a magazine still thought they had to do something to her to 'improve it'... and this is someone who probably works out hours per day, has trainers, dieticians, and is in the business of staying beautiful.

She defended her self on Twitter saying back to the photographer that it was the original image and was not photoshopped... so she certainly believes she looks that good and doesn't require the help.

Yes, definitely. It would take me about three weeks and a lot of effort, but I think I could save her.

You mean of the original fashion shot image that allegedly was copied for use on the magazine cover? Interesting point.

No. Within this thread, there are only links and the smallest snippet of a quote. The linked articles are clearly editorial comment, fully fair use.

Hey Jurgen if you look closely at the photos I think you'd agree it isn't the model's torso. Just a coincidence that they are wearing the same outfit with somewhat of the same pose. Looking at the draping of the pieces of fabric and the lighting and lines and creases, it would take more work to photoshop the model's body onto Demi (and change all of the fabric that has moved) rather than just liquifying Demi into the right shape.
