Shot with a new softbox I got, the Westcott Apollo softbox that opens like an umbrella, 28x28". Needless to say I LOVE this thing. I was going around to each plate of food and holding the flash and softbox in one hand while shooting with the other. Worked well though, as you can see here. Through weddings and other family events, I've developed an interest in food photography, so much so that I'm now assisting once or twice a month with a prof. food photographer. I want to start shooting my own styled plates, of course, but I have yet to learn how to cook!
