Is one CD better than the other?

Is there a certain cd-r/cd+r brand that is better than the other? And is there also a cd out there that is larger than 700MB to store more photo's? I am currently using Verbatim lightscribe CD-R, 700MB

use dvd's if you want to store on that medium. they are 4.7 gb. if you have a dvd drive that can write to dual layer dvd's you can buy blanks and double the storage space. i don't really worry about brands.

Agree with Tim. Been using them for years and have first-hand experience that they archive much better than commercial, over-the-counter brands.

generally the cheaper the disc the less material used..
