Stupid Lightroom question......

I have Lightroom 2.5, and only use it when processing when I have more than 200 or so photos (like action shots, racing, etc). The most recent time was back in September, where I loaded about 1000 photos to batch them.

Now I want to use LR to batch another set......but how do I get rid of these 1000 photos, that loaded when opening LR again?

You can remove them from your catalogue by selecting them and pressing x then under the Photo menu you can select to delete or just remove from catalogue.

But when you import the next batch, the next batch will show up when you reopen LR, if that's what you are wondering. You can click on All Photographs or Previous Import in the left hand pane.

Thank you! That last detail is what I was overlooking.

Lightroom by default opens at the place where you were when you last closed it. When you Import a new folder of files, it will then open in that folder. Or you can use the Library Folders panel to just browse to a folder in your library.
