Been lurking this site for quite a while, so now my entry

after queensnight (koninginnenach) i met a girl who does makeup and stuff and wanted to do a modelshoot with me...

first time for everyone... i think they came out pretty good...
tips and tricks are welcome

and i know i need to pay more attention to the background (but that is only visible in my portfolio (external link) (direct link to her album), not in the attachments

Welcome! :) The first one looks like it only needs a little minor adjustment in PS, but it is still very nice. The second one is simply fantastic though! 8)

I think they did too. ;)
These are both pretty good for different reasons. The first as a good close in shot for a portfolio maybe, and the second looks kind of like a cover shot style for Ladies Home Journal of something similar. Nice shots, and welcome to the forum.

Firts entry doesnt mean it's my first pic on the camera ;)
btw: taken with an eos 300d with one of the following lenses:
- 18-55mm kitlens
- 70-300mm sigma
- 50mm canon prime 1.8 II
cheap but working like a charm :)

that one is straight out of the cam... no adjustments whatsoever, only raw to jpeg.
