Not exactly the same toys I had when I was a kid but pretty darn close.

Imeddy,
Yea, I wish I had an old metal Slinky for the photo

Congrats Jason, monty & John! All were good shots.

Imeddy, I went back & forth between Doctor Evil and my computer toys shot. I decided this morning to go with the repairmen. I guess I should've stuck with Dr Evil! Oh well... :)

This was a fun challenge and theme!

Imeddy,

I was thinking more along the lines of getting a cheap paper airplane and having to put them together and then throw them in the yard. Mine would always break.

Thank you Imeddy, for both the challenge and the nod. The submissions were all very good!

The concept behind my shot was to imply motion by way of using the Lensbaby, most notably with the race car. At f/2, there is little 'sweet-spot' to work with using a Lensbaby. I had almost submitted my Starship Enterprise image, but the implied kinetic energy of my submitted image won out for me.

This was a fun shoot, altogether. Once again, thanks!

Challenge #125 will be up shortly.

Kinda off topic a little but i wanted to have this contest about water but ended up changing it to toys. You have some great water drop shots out there. I've been trying for the last few days and all I'm getting is a bunch of junk.

You inspire me.
