I'm trying to figure out if one of these cases will fit a gripped 7D with a 24-70 attached. I can't seem to find any specs of the combo (gripped 7D).

Anyone know?

TIA

A gripped 7D is no bigger than a 1D Mk III and mine fits perfectly in a 1600 with any lens on.

I have recently changed the foam to have it lensless though.

Thanks guys. I already have a pelican 1600 with foam that houses everything in my equipment list minus the tripod, gripped 7D, 100-400, and 24-70. Does anyone think that if I change to padded dividers I will be able to fit everything in there plus a 580EX II? Minus the tripod of course :D

Possibly, try it with an empty case allowing little gaps for dividers.
