This is a panorama made from 6 images taken with my old 28mm@f/2.8 for 13s and ISO640
I did this while waiting for the outburst. So here the light is very weak and not moving much so it was perfect for a pano

Amazing!

I was just in Norway (Kongsberg, about an hour east of Oslo) didn't see any lights though :(

those clouds look interesting with the lights.

It is very rare that you see it that far south. The best is to be above the arctic circle. See the link from Wikipedia here (external link)

Yes, it was really nice. The moon helped to light up. There were big activity last night also. But I was not fit to get outside due to sponsored dinner and drinks on Wednesday....

Those images never get good. It is difficult to stand still for 30 seconds :)
