Last night I was searching on ehay and found a Canon 2x TC. So I looked before I lept and bought it. I was plan on using it with my Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 EX APO. Well after thumbing through the teleconverter thread, to my disappointment, the Canon 2xTC wont work with the Sigma70-200. Talk about a let down. So, here's my 3 questions.
1. Is there a 2x TC out there that would work with the Sigma70-200 or would I just need to buy a 1.4x tc?
2. Would it be best for me to turn around and sell it and get a tc that will work.
3. Maybe as a last resort, buy a Sigma 70-300mm DG Macro and use it instead. Would it be worth it to buy this lens?
I've been looking through the threads, but just cant seem to find the answers I'm looking for. I'm wanting to do some wildlife photography. I just dont want to be stuck with something I cant use.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
