Just got the pending notice now. It was about 24hrs.

Did you get the 5D2? With that discount I would be tempted but Dell hits me for sales tax.

Just ordered a 5D2 with 24-105L kit from Dell! WOOOOOT! Thanks for the thread. I've been waiting so long. Now the long wait for the BING cash back to show up in my "pending" so I can feel good about my purchase.

what a good deal on the 5d2 if the Bing cashback goes through. Please update us if you see it pending. So its $700 cashback?

Just 50D+28-135mm kit. I will sell the lens and my original 40D. It will end up being a $100-$150 difference. Pretty good considering I get a new camera w/ macro adjust, VGA and DIGIC 4.

You are right about sales tax. That was $80 for me. Kind of hurts.

I was somewhat tempted with 5dmk2, but that will prbably have to wait until next year.

I was tempted because the 24-105L is on my list. The 5D2 sells easily. After I crunched the numbers including the sales tax and the cost of selling/shipping the 5D2 it wasn't so appealing. The 24-105 shows up here a lot for sale, usually being parted out of the kit.

Trying to keep my lunch down...

Just ordered the 5dmkii kit, and a 24-70L. Never used Bing before, but I'll feel a whole lot better when I get that cash back notification.

Well, I've been craving the 5dmkii + 24-70L for a year now. I'll probably sell the 24-105 immediately, not really interested in that at all. The 20% bing CB just gave me the little push I needed. After CB, taxes and turning around the 24-105, I hope to end up somewhere around $3400 out of pocket.

You should be able to hit that target. The 24-105 sells easily at a reasonable price. The only variable is your sales tax rate, some locations now are nearly 11%.

You should be fine.

Man, it was really tough passing on this deal for me. I could have easily gone wild with credit cards but I just won't buy equipment unless I have the cash for it. Keeps me out of trouble. :)

Wow! I can't believe I never heard of Bing until now. I wish I knew about it when I bought my 5D on ebay and my 135L at Dell. The 5D2 is very tempting. Must resist shopping for myself.

Good deal!!! just ordered 50D. I have not received any email from bing.com.

How long does it take usually to receive cashback confirmation email from bing.com?

It took approximately 24 hours for my Cashback to show up on my Bing account for the recent Dell purchase.
