Just got my 85 1.2L mkII!!!

i've read some post and a lot of people said it takes a lot of getting use to. and its true! a lot of hit and miss, but gotta play w/ it more. the lens is awesome! i love it!:D

same here, just got mine yesterday in the mail. this sucker is heavy, heavier than a 24-70 L. hard to get 1.2 right when trying to focus and recompose. but when it hits, its nice

I love using my f/1.8 version equally as much as the 85L. For me I purchased different focal lengths first since I had the 85 f/1.8 version.

Congrats guys, it's a great chunk of glass. It does take some getting used to, both in weight, focus and having the rear element so exposed in the back.
