I know that price is often a factor when trying to decide which photo editor to use. If it helps anyone's decision, the Apple Store has Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 on sale today only for $30 off. You can get it for $68.00 with free shipping (external link).

There is also a rebate form on the product page for an additional $20.00 off which would drop you total price to $48 in about eight weeks time.
