apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | Since it's New Zealand dollars, it's a bit cheaper than what you normally have to pay for a 1Ds Mark III in Sweden. Anders

Canon seem to think that leaks are bad, but they keep the media and likely customers (like what I is!) interested. Richard

Let's face it; leaks or not, we are very attentive and anxious to see what the 1Ds IV has to officially offer. I can understand entirely Canon wanting to keep things under wraps as it is not only customers looking to scoop up that information, but the competition as well. Surely they don't want to give the competition anymore foresight than they have to, no? Ravi J.H. | Make an experience out of it - focus and expose manually.

With Canon keeping this camera under wraps, it makes me think that Canon will give us something new and innovative. Am I on the edge of my seat? For sure!!

I'm just waiting for the 1Ds IV to come out to scoop up an 1Ds III at a price comparable to theft honestly. Ravi J.H. | Make an experience out of it - focus and expose manually.

Snatching up a 1Ds III at a lower price is going to be a bargain.

I got mine for 3700$ and I saw many going at 3500 and less now. I'm waiting for the sub-$3K wave. I have a 1Ds II with only 6,000 actuations on it so I'm good for right now. My expectations are high and the only thing that could bring this camera over the top is with new sensor technology (DIGIC V). Can it happen? I hope so.
