Are you serious?

No. :)

I sold my 1Ds III though... for enough to pay for the new 1D X.

--dude, i got a 1dx the best camera in the word! its fast, responsive and has amazing dynamic range! 12fps at full frame! it rocks! I love it and I m gonna buy 3 of them for each bedroom in my house! They are just sooo pretty! By the way - your pictures are amazing! You have a 1dx too right?

- nope I use a 30d with a nifty. And I study color, light and composition.

- blink blink :)

That's the downside of owning a nice camera... You having nothing left to blame when your pictures still suck.

LOL! :)

OK, i study color, light/exposure, composition, even art, and i have digital medium format and 1Ds3, i really want to have 1DX but i know that i have to start to save a lot or sell something, but what to sell and then what i want in this camera? maybe the fast speed is very tempting so i may sell my 1D3, it is full frame but it is only 18mp, should i sacrifice my 60mp for 18 or i have to think to let my 21mp go for getting newer technology and performances? DR my digital MF beating that DSLR, fast fps? well i feel even my 1D3 is too much fast overkill for sports, higher ISO performance, well, i even don't go higher than 3200, not to mention 6400, i don't shoot those theaters or very dark low light art performances even in sport 3200 in many cases is more than enough and don't use it much.

Well, i know i want many new features and performances for sure, but that doesn't come free or cheap, and after i wasted a lot of my money on gear that are very expensive and was high end and latest that time then when i can stop running after new things? Until now i don't have one DSLR with video, and even i don't have any L lenses or even non lenses which is mk2, so is that mean i am old fashioned and i am far behind many of those pals who has the latest camera in the world whether it is the cheapest or average or most expensive?

Every time Canon or Nikon bringing new cameras/lenses to the market people get very very excited about how those new gear will act and also how will get it as soon as possible, and when i look at the threads of those cameras and lenses, almost 80% are tests and hardly i can see something that are masterpiece or artwork, many times i ask myself, why they buy those new gear when they will not have so amazing winner high quality work as it should be, i don't see my work really justify my gear i have, but from what many people told me i can feel happy that i put my gear to get work that many people talk about it, and to get higher level with my gear is just a matter of time and i have all the time to improve more and more, but i reached to that point where i see myself i don't need to get new latest every month as i was doing mostly last years.

IMHO anything that Canon makes right now can deliver absolutely superb results. 5-7 years ago, that wasn't really true, but I can assure you, that I would feel absolutely confident shooting a big budget ad with a t2 rebel, or the IQ 180 from Phase 1

For pixel peepers and those who are disappointed by the low MP count on 1D X, it really seems like Canon is still testing the market and is now following Sony's 24MP on APS-C...

"...The camera will probably be a new 24mp APS-C sensor and run a DIGIC 5 processor. The DIGIC 5+ won’t be used..."

The amount of time needed for R&D is more than since Sony announced their 24 MP aps-c cameras. So Canon has had a 24 MP sensor in development for a while. I'm sure they have different projects in R&D and in the end choose one to implement. This is why there are decent "rumors" that never surface because they weren't chosen for production.

I would enjoy and unprocessed full sized jpeg from that setup. Preferrably of a person. Just to feel bad about my current cameras.

lol dude. I never claimed it was mine :) and you are missing the point completely. So what if I told you I had one of these with several Scheinder lenses. What would change? It is my job to use high end gear. I think that it is absolutely unnecessary to have one of these if photography is your hobby.

Just to see how bad my 60mp against this 80mp, lol
I feel that Phase One took the exposure from Hasselblad by miles, and even their 60mp backs [P65+, IQ160] seems better than of Hasselblad H4D, so i hope i don't regret i went with Hasselblad instead of Phase One.
