Broncos vs Giants 11/27/09

It was a long day of network TV doing the game for NFL Network. I had to be there 8 hours before kickoff. Thank God I had my camera to keep me busy in between doing my real job.

I like to call these, Portraits of a football game.

Here's one more that I shot from the press box. There was a pane of glass in between the lens and the players. But it was Elvis Dumervil knocking the ball out of Manning's hand. Broncos recovered the ball.

I love the shots....My son would be jealous since he's a Bronco fan. I especially like the sack even though it's through glass.

Thanks! I was just watching the game through my lens while sitting in the press box. I had to fire it seeing what was developing with Elvis Dumervil. He has the most sacks in the NFL so far and he is way undersized playing DE/OLB, but his heart more than makes up for it!

Thanks! No, I do sound for them. I do the pre and post game interviews and reporter stand-ups. I do a lot of coverage during the week at the training facility for them too.

I wish! but sadly, no. I didn't get a field photo vest this time. There was a turkey dinner in the press box calling my name and I was way hungry. Besides, his grabs both came at the other end of the fiels going away from the box I was in.

He's a total football stud, and a real nice guy. I've done other work with him in the past and right before the game he came over and shook my hand and said hi. I told him to just go out and have that night. I think he listened to me as his play was amazing! Winning is always fun.

I really like #1. Do by chance have it a bit looser on the left side? In any case very nice!

Yeah, I might. I took about 10 or 12 frames of this guy. Both verticle and horizontal. I just liked his expression in that one.
