Happy Thanks Giving From Canada

To all my football friends south of the Can/US border Happy Thanksgiving.
I realize that Ammeria is a football/baseball nation and hockey isn't very important but what I would like to ask of you is to give the Canadian Football League a chance.On Sunday the 97th Grey Cup will be played and there is covreage in the U.S. Probably ESPN 2/3.The talent in the CFL is very high and when the nuances of our rules are understood I think you will all become fans.

Hockey isn't important??? To who??? Ok, so I see nearly 100 games or more between high school/jv and college games so it's somewhat important at least to me.

Well, in Cannnaad (miss spelled on porpose) I know hockey is huge, but Hockey IS important to us as well as the NFL and MLB. We love our Avs here in Denver! I live in a unique city where we fully support all five of the major sports in America (spelled correctly). We have an NFL team in the Denver Broncos, a MLB team in the Colorado Rockies, a NBA team in the Denver Nuggets, our Colorado Avalanche is the NHL team and the Colorado Rapids are our MLS team. Not bad for a less that top ten market city. Los Angles can't say the same thing.

Besides, the CFL field is too wide. Also, there is some scuttle butt out there about the Buffalo Bills moving to Toronto after the elderly owner of the teams passes on. Hmmmmm... Why not? We do it with Baseball and Basket ball, why not the NFL? Once you have an NFL team, then maybe you'll forget about the CFL.
