I've noticed that sometimes while depressing the trigger to focus, the built in flash stobes. Is this normal? Does not seem normal to me, but it's my first DSLR (I've had several EOS 35mm models) and it strikes me as odd. Nov 28, 2009 07:07 | #5 Thanks for the responses. I did read the manual (Pages 96-102) and honestly did not associate the strobe as a pre-flash. A preflash (to me) is one, maybe two flashes.
