I will lend anything to anyone. If I get it back, I have a friend, If I don't, I saved time finding out quickly that I don't have a friend. Hopefully they will eat at burger king when they see me parked at wendy's.

I'd lend Jim Askew & Jon just about anything I have, if I'm not using it. That's one thing I've learned, I can't lend the gear I can't live without. I've been lending out lots of less expensive gear, even my 70-200 f4. Several people have bags I don't use. I think insurance is the key, in case you are not sure what to do. Why do I lend out my stuff, because my friends would do the same for me and take as good care of the gear as I would. Right now I have one of my brother's old medium format film cameras for fun. He knows I'll take care of it.

RF6 Mii, 5DIV, SONY a7iii, 7D2, G12, 6 L's & 2 Primes, 25 bags.
My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.

Only to people who know how to use it, fellow photography students, close friends photographers, parents (they paid for it).
But yeah as long as they know how to handle gear I guess they'll be alright, will not lend to strangers though or people I barely know

Only in the school studio, when I am in thesame room too. Else it would be a no (this is about my body and 24-70. I do lend my 50 1.8 to a classmate pretty much all the time cause it barely sees any use cause of the 24-70 :P).

The people in the studio are my classmates, all following thesame education (which is photography), so I am aware of the fact they handle it with care. But still I feel safer being in thesame room anyway.

Lend my glass to some close friends sometimes. Its what friends are for right? In return I get their equipment as well... like if I need a second body or something at an event.

Nice little system which works well for us.

Regularly. So far it's inspired four of my friends to pick up photography as a hobby, which has translated to more lenses for me to borrow!
