what would be a better camera? a 1Dmk4 or a 5d2.
I want to get more into studio photography, landscapes, etc... so keep thinking the 5d, but then someone told me the 1d is better in studio.. is this true?

Nov 28, 2009 10:18 | #3 5d II for the resolution. If your gonna get a 1D for the studio, landscapes etc. don't get a 1D get a 1Ds. Your not gonna need the fps, and the 1.3 crop for studio etc. Your gonna need FF and high resolution and good glass. Canon 1D III & Canon 5D

I suck at Photoshop.

If you don't know what you need, you haven't reached the limits of your current camera, so just forget about it. I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I had both a 5d and a 1DS Mk2, and found myself using the 5d most of the time - simply because of the weight.
