Have you and was it white? I want to see if a white lens actually increases the risk of theft as some claim, or if thieves just see a DSLR as a big camera.

I put black tape on my 70-200 and my friend's got stolen instead. :lol: just kidding!

If i wanted theives to be thrown off my lens I would paint it pink with purple poka dots. Honestly who would buy that even from a theif? ;)

This had to start up again already? lol


Although I did experience an attempted mugging late one night.... not sure if it was because of the camera gear, or I was the only guy out and about late at night besides the group of individuals I ran into.
