I can't decide if they're a bit underexposed or not, but the boys high school season finally started, 2 weeks after the girls season...Our guys were way down last year and lost 3-0 to a really good team Saturday. Some through the glass, some not.

2. A lot of players either forget or just don't use the mouthpiece the way it's supposed to be used.

4. Kind of obvious this one is through the glass

5. This what happens if the player you're going to check sidesteps the check. The player in blue is a bit 'oof' but I was looking to shoot the check.

6. No puck, and the next frame the player was into boards in front of me from the trip.

What settings do you use on your camera to take these great shots? I have a Canon 40D - Canon 70-200 IS F2.8 lens...and all of my hockey pictures come out terrible.

Nice job - these look great. Very crisp and next to no noise at iso 3200 !

Well done.

Cheers.

I figured it was obvious that some Neat Image was run since I have on the other hockey shots I've posted..
