Nice angle and cool center composition. It appears to be a long tow back. As a fellow boating family THANKS.

Hi,

In truth it was just a half hours cruise to recover the small boat back to the marina :-)

Now this clearly isn't my best boat shot but I crave your indulgence. It was taken in 2001 with my first digital camera - a Fujifilm MX-1200. All of 1.3 mp with 2x digiital zoom!! It show the Petara in Hvar harbour, Croatia. It was Bernie Ecclestone's first yacht named after his daughters Petra and Tamara.

In the photo is Goran Ivanisevic in the hat and yellow shirt talking to Bernie. Thanks for looking.

Another shot just off Arran yesterday. Not sure why the EXIF info isn’t showing.. I used an R5, RF 100-500 L and a 1.4 converter.

RFA Tiderace fleet auxiliary tanker, among other things. She's on maintainance and sea trials at the mo with her 'lady' skipper Captain Susan Cloggie-Holden.

I wonder what she's like at parking it

Probably does it well. A navy with the likes of Nelson, Anson, Hawke, Howe, Hornblower, Parker, St. Vincent, Fisher, Collingwood, and many others, probably wouldn't post someone who couldn't park a ship.

I'd add Thomas Cochrane to the list.
