Hi Noah

There will be three big events in Chicago the NPPL and the Living Legends of Paintball Scenario will be at CPX the SAME weekend May 28-30 :confused: and I am still waiting to hear when the PSP will be scheduled

let me know if you need someone like me to attend the opposite one you are! after i get this mark 2 im golden. I got my 70-200 2.8 and a 300 F/4L, saving for the 300 2.8L as well.

Plus im covering most of the regional events here in Michigan and some in ohio and indy... stuff really picked up for me after making my website!

The unfortunate thing about paintball is the lack of diversity of action IMO. When you shoot from a bunker, you want to stay in tight, when you move, move low, etc. This leads to basically the same stock poses over and over, no fault of the photographer, it's just too hard to actually get something unique with such little differences. I'm not sure why, paintball is a blast to play, but just not a very photogenic sport to me it seems. The action just never seems to convey itself to still photography or even videography.

I don't mind the shadows in a few of these and with a bit of contrast and some play with the colors you could get a very cool, high contrast poster look to them.

Photography or even videos can't express the rush of competitive paintball mainly because (for obvious safety reasons) the players are wearing a mask. Other sports, you can see the players faces and see their expressions.

Nice photos btw, keep on shooting those paintball pics!

That's why, much as I love the look of mirrored lenses, lately I've been preferring shots where you can see the player's eyes. You can get quite a bit of intensity out of them.
