In the end I had to help the baby back up into the tree he fell out of.
Poor little thing was wobbly on it's feet and could only flutter a meter or two. He wandered around the backyard for a few hours with his frantic parents in tow.

Couple of days later he is still up the tree being feed, so it looks like everything will turn out alright.

Nice capture on the chick there. I had the pleasure of seeing these birds for the first time on a recent trip to NZ. Beautiful birds.
