Wildlife at Glacier National Park

the entire area from Jackson to Flagg Ranch is full of wildlife. But I see most of the wildlife in the eastern half of the park where it borders the Briger-Teton National Forest. That is the thickest ungulate country I have ever seen in my life - both in numbers and sizes. Gros Ventre and Oxbwo Bend are always good for moose. Elk like the Jenny Lake Junction area.

I haven't been to Teton in a couple years and really need to get back there. I was going too this year but several fires blocked me, so I just went up to Glacier which was an incredible choice. Glacier never disappoints.

I would love to get the quintesential shot of a bugling Elk with a steaming mouth and the Teton's in the background.
