Great color phase of the bears, what lens and how close are you? Would be nice to see the 2nd cub better.

Thanks. There were three cubs but they kept ducking behind bushes. I used a rented Canon 100-400 L on my Rebel XT.

I am bad at judging distances, but I want to say they were 100 yards away???

that bear standing up is looking at u like your a Big Mac! Great shot though.

Great capture. I've always gone early in the summer, looks like it's better to go late (Sept).

Being one that owns the 1-4 on a crop I'm not sure I wouldn't have been beating feet instead of shooting from that distance... :p

haha my heart was doing that, except it was because of the photo's I had taken. I didn't even realize the danger until after.
