Dec 04, 2009 16:58 | #4 It is a little over done. I tend to over do my work more for contrast. This image was a single exposure. The composition is too centered for my liking but this was the clearest shot I had to work with. I would have cropped it but I would have lost the clouds which I wanted in the photo. I also used a grad filter. This shot was actually me playing around with the grad filter at the beach. I wasn't expecting to shoot any surfers. HDR Photography by Captain Kimo

Florida is a great place to surf. Wish I lived there. I grew up in San Diego and surfed my whole life, but I still favor Florida for its lifestyle, the beaches, and the mystique of the place (at least from my perspective). But mostly I love the warm water. Thank you.

This was a test that I was playing around with using a grad filter. It's a single exposure HDR. However I didn't process it as a 16bit raw instead I recreated 2 different expsoure from the originals and merged in using Photomatix. HDR Photography by Captain Kimo
