I am planning on buying a vivitar 383 to use as both on and off camera flash. Need advice on radio triggers. I want to set this up with a 24"X36" Softbox. Is anyone using a Vivitar off camera successfully?

That flash doesnt have a sync port so you would need either a hotshoe adapter or triggers that have a built in shoe mount like the cactus v-4. I much prefer the cybersyncs from the alien bee folks, they are a considerable step up in quality from the ebay/hong kong triggers.
