I have a photo from a friend of a friend's Christmas session that I did. She loved one of the pictures but I can't get the backdrop to look good without it looking choppy. Anyone want to try their hand at pp for me?

She liked it the way I did it but Im afraid when it gets printed it might not look to good and I know most of you can do a much better job than I could with my paintshop.

Here is the original and my try. Im not sure how best to send the image but if anyone is willing to try it let me know and I can send it how ever you think is best! Any help would be sooooo appreciated! :)

Thought I'd give it a quick try.

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but I pretty much just took out the whole background.

Thanks Dennis, I like your edit I just would like the backdrop to be whiter. My flash died at the beginning of this shoot so I didn't have enough light on it.

This looks a lot better than mine. In mine you could see the lightened places in the edges of her hair. How did you take the background out? Does it look funny that there is no definition under her, like she is floating? I wondered that about my edit when I took all the wrinkles out.

I think it looks weird that she is just floating in there.
I used the dodge tool in photoshop to overexpose all the background.

Thanks, I would not from this file. Plus this was a quick play. I can do wonders with a original file and my tablet and stylus. Pm me and we can discuss what to do. Give you a quote you will like!

Rather than trying to eliminate the background I found that if you soften up the harsh lines and shadows caused by the folds in the fabric it turns out much better.

That's a great edit Armondo. I like how there is still texture in the backdrop. Can you explain how you achieved this?
