I saw a 1Ds MK III starting bid for $55 usd on ebay, At end of auction details it said to contact dealer before buying so I did and this is what I got back:

"Hello,
The item is brand new in the box (unopened) with full International
Warranty (3 years limit). If you want it the buy now price is $1500 and
i will sell it only at buy now price! If you decide to buy it please
send me your full name and shipping address and eBay will contact you
about payment and shipment details.
Shipping cost and all taxes are included in the price!
Please feel free to ask me anything you want!
Thank you"

This "sellers" email is:bargain07@googlemail.com

The ebay auction has since been taken down, less then 10 minutes after I contacted him.

Dodgy as!

I've seen the listings for the 500mm f/4 IS lenses too. Is something eBay condones or should it be reported? If I remember correctly the seller had a large number of sales and a high feedback rating, but maybe it's a hacked account.
