Thanks, Steve. I shot this one from a distance of about 350 feet to get a group of cormorants that I saw on the opposite shore. When I chimped the shot to see if it was in focus, I figured that it was time to quit. I don't want to be around when those type birds are in the park.

The "flashers" show up at anytime & place... nice shot.. good stuff.

Thanks, Steve. The 7D gets the credit for a good exposure since I was so far away, I was just hoping for good focus. Both of the above images are crops from the same image (the second one is 100% and the first is reduced a bit). There were some gulls in flight just above them that I just could not seem to keep in focus -- I found out later that I had accidentally switched from AI Servo to One-Shot AF.
