I voted but I'm looking to try some medium format stuff first but if Blonde, Ed Rader and CDS give it a thumbs up I may have to revisit getting one.;)

Just sold my 5D MKII, rented an MKIII for my next event, and will likely buy an MKIV when my job situation improves within the next few months.

Well, I know Blonde and he is a good guy who tells it straight. Plus, he has bought and sold almost every camera system on the market in the last couple of years so he has a good working knowledge of most Dslrs.

CDS, pretty much the same thing he had nothing but problems with his 1DMk3 and finally got it replaced so it will be very interesting to see what he thinks of the new kid on the block.

Ed, seems to be more grumpy than most (:D) but gives very fair reviews good and bad.

Paying attention to the old 1DMK3 threads when auto focus was a big issue all of them gave objective reviews without letting emotions cloud their judgment. Just because they owned the thing didn't mean it walked on water. ;)

My MKIII will have to do for now.:) I'll most likely upgrade to the MKIV some day just because of ISO performance. One of my photo buds pre-ordered 5 of them.:D

Canon Gear, 1 Nikon F2, and never enough lens..:)

i don't believe it. they were all over the 7d even tho it was a brand new camera in a new line.

ed rader

Ed, it's a huge price difference and the 7D is targeted at a slightly different consumer.

I guess what I meant to ask was: why not just try it yourself?
You are your own best tester.

Fancy giving just one of your MK IIs away?
If so, I'll take it. I'll even set up a charity if required!
