Thinking about upgrading to all full frame. Currently I have a 5D (classic) and a 30D. So far I have thought of 3 options:

1. 5D Mark II : newer technology, mega pixels

2. 1DS Mark II : 45-point focus

3. Another 5D classic and Pocket Wizard FlexTT5 (x4) : for my 3 flash setup, currently I use a ST-E2.

The lenses I use are 24-105, 7-2 f/4 IS, 15fish and 85/1.8

Please help me decide. It would help greatly if you can throw in a few words with your suggestion. If you have any other suggestion please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Edit: That had to be a pretty strange 2K post. I've gotta get a life

I assume if you're going with #1 or #2, you'll be letting go of your current 2 bodies? If so, I'd vote for another 5D Classic. I'm a 2-body user, am not good enough to be able to do weddings with just 1 body and I don't enjoy changing lenses.

Otherwise, consider letting go of your 30D for 5D Mark II and keep the 5D Classic. Beware that with 5D Classic and 5DII setup, it may eventually push you to get another 5DII LOL... The sheer 21.1MP, crop-like-no-tomorrow ability, excellent noise control, light (!) and... last but not least, you'll love the LCD (oh and HD).

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I'm keeping the 5D as back-up.

Noise and weight are very good points. I see that you have a 1D series camera as well as a 5D2. Does 21 MP trump 45-point focus in your opinion? For weddings, at least? I'm sure this debate has driven many users Noinkers.
