We paid a visit to this wonderful wildlife rescue ranch where I live in the Southern California mountains. http://www.wildhaven.org (external link)
They take injured animals, rehabilitate them, and then release them back into the wild.... the animals that cannot survive in the wild due to people reliance or permanent injury call this place their home. Such a wonderful couple that works night and day to make this place possible for our furry friends. All completely non-profit.
During our visit, I brought the cam and had to get a few shots. Most of these were shot through either a chain link fence, or from a low fence.
CC much appreciated.... I'm more of a people photog... but I love animals more! haha

1. Wolfie the Red Tailed Hawk (had to crop out the handler and their gawdy glove, haha)

Nice series. The eagle (#6) and the owl are very impressive.

Great series, the cropping on some of them seem off. 1, imo is to tight. 4, I would cut some off the top of the picture, there are more leaves in the picture than animal (nice job on removing the leash though).

Over all I like this series, thanks for sharing.
