if anyone has some focusing tips please let me know as i found it pretty hard, haha. man was it hard to get this to turn out half decent.

this was shot in my backyard.

Night shots can be very difficult. I only have ever had 2 successes. You can see them on my flickr.

If it were me, I'd get rid of those little spots around the moon. If I had the raw file I could show you. You might want to turn image editing on so we could help you out.

not sure how to enable image editing. i have the raw file but i resized it for here.

I agree night shots are pretty hard.. Nice moon though, I went and got a skyline last night and in order to make the skyline (of Liverpool, UK) crisp I had to use f/16 and in turn the moon turned into a shining star ;) -- It's on my flickr in the Liverpool set.
