I missed the first few games while my outlet got the credentials straightened out with the SID but finally got things set and was back on the baseline. Unfortunately, the team looks like they are not firing on all cylinders and Wichita St. made them pay for it. First hoops of the season and boy was I rusty but here's some samples all the same. Exif intact.

Welcome back to the hardwood my friend!! Looks like a pretty good first night out. Geez, the dude in #3 does have some gigantic hands. His thumb looks like another index finger.

Thanks Kev and Dan, good to be back there. Danny, that's quite a memory. Yeah, 1600 1/500 last year. This year I even shot some 1/640 at 1250. Thing is, I counted 31 (that's not a typo) lights that were not turned on. Thirty freakin one! !!!!!! Can you imagine?

Excellent work as always, I like #6 the best, even though there is not a whole lot of action, the shot is perfect.

I hadn't thought of the energy conservation movement. I hope my gyms don't go green.

Clean pics Scotty. I like the hands idea.

Thanks bud. Yeah, it wasn't like random lights that weren't working, I'm talking 5 different full banks of lights that were just not turned on.

Hey Scott,

I told you they had been working on the lights! What did you think?

I have been getting a couple quick snaps at the Womens games - mostly at 1250 ISO. The thing is, they had been turning on more lights at past games, but when they turned the ones on the baseline on, players complained they couldn't see the basket when looking straight into the lights.
