Modified Cover editing

I did another cover edit for Modified this month. I did not take any photos for this cover. Photography is courtesy of Peter Tarach, Michael Schwartze, and David Pratte. This edit probably contains pieces from over 8 images. Many of the pictures were of the cars sitting still so there was a lot of airbrushing needed to eliminate reflections and create the illusion of motion. Check out the animation below to see the whole process.

Wow, that's awesome! I watched the animation like 6 times. I noticed something new each time around. lol

You took pictures of Chris Rios's gold Acura Integra right? It was on the cover of Import Tuner, December 2008. I work for Competition Clutch and we sponsor that car. Those were some pretty damn nice shots of that car too. :)

haha yeah mean. Chris is an awesome dude. I didn't know I was going to shoot that until 2 days before the shoot date. I had to drive 10 hours to virginia, check into a hotel, scout locations for 4 to 5 hours, and then shoot the teg the next day. It was pretty stressful, especially with that being the first cover feature of mine.

Wow..!! That's ridiculously crazy.. I would never had thought there was that much work on one of those cover shots.. Thanks for sharing..
