Love the colours and detail here.

If it was mine, I might have tried to have the distant horizon more on the lower third line giving that interesting cloud filled sky a bit more emphasis.
But that's just personal taste. YMMV. <smile>

I like both versions. I think #1 draws you in, #2 looks more expansive.

If I had a spot like that near me, I would visit weekly or even daily to get some nice images all throughout the days of the year. Nice work regardless. I think both images are very strong. But that sky must be gorgeous when the sun rises and sets......
