I'm getting crummy results and need these asap. Got an email early last month saying they'd ship mid to end of November.

What's the deal?!

Mark Wallace is currently on tour to promote Pocket Wizard and will be in Los Angeles December 12 and he said he is brining AC5 shields for anyone with a Flex to have for free.

Your only other option is to wait it out.

Hmm, they just sent me this email

Hi Mikee-

We do not yet have an exact shipping date but we should be sending them out soon! Hopefully it will ship by the end of December, but I can't guarantee that. Sorry for any inconvenience or delay this may cause you.

Happy Holidays!

Attended the Mark Wallace Tour Event in Los Angeles yesterday and Phil from MAC was handing them out to people who brought in their FlexTT's (as well as checking firmware for them). Range is how these things should have been out the box with the AC5's. Also, no misfires all day and no unintended exposures. In the past I've had the Speedlites dump at full power intermittently and overexposing. No sign of this behavior yesterday.

Exactly. It's just unfortunate . . . but not a big deal in the end.

when I want to shoot with just-out-of-frame bright lights and prevent flair I have to use a lens hood. . .

when I want to shoot with maximum possible performance using a flex and a 580EX . . . I have to use the shield. And the AC5 is way more portable than any of my lens hoods are
