Not much going on around here this time of year so I thought I'd pull out some shots from this past spring. We had the rare opportunity of having a pair of least bitterns nest about 40 feet off the road at Presque Isle State Park. They had a clutch of 4-5 eggs as near as we could tell. It was very cool watching them over a few weeks until the reeds got too high for the daily photography contingency to get anymore shots. Especially neat was watching them roll the eggs around the nest.
