I'm a relative noob so take this for what it's worth. I have the 24-105, and f4 just doens't cut it for me. I rarely, if ever, use it.

Gah, threads like this always make me want to go 35L + Tammy 28-75. I'm in Seoul right now taking a ton of photos and have found (as usual) the zoom + IS is convenient, but the 35L just looks so sexy. Hmph.
