I figure I should share occasionally, since I give advice and critique it's only fair. C&C of these images are welcome!

The majority of the images are with the 7D (external link) and Sigma 30 F1.4 (external link), but probably some with the 17-55 (external link) as well.

#1 This is a great shot, Tim! it took that many people to squeeze her into the dress? Classic! Good view of all the hands.

#2 I think this one is my favorite, as you caught a wonderful moment, but the hair in the face is bothering me. Can that be fixed?

#3 Great capture of the moment and in motion, getting in focus is tough. The man behind her is distracting me, though. Makes the image too busy. I like the bridesmaid laughing. Makes me feel happy for the bride. Fun.

#4 Cemetery, interesting place for a somber pose, but hey, it's quite sobering.

#5 Not loving the pose as I don't see a lot of intimacy or fun in it, just a pose together. Her eyes are so clear, I don't know if she's looking at you. Do you have another from that set that maybe they are more connected?

#6 Don't know the gesture, but really love this shot! The blur is wonderful.

#7 Now that's more intimate and wonderful.

#8 This is a nice shot, but I would clone out the top right sign on the building. Like the vignetting, though.

Overall, nice session, Tim.

I love number 4 and number 6.

Number 4 reminds me of the Adams Family - must be the graveyard type background. Love the contrast in themes.

6 great timing, and great exposure. Very natural bride, and the slow shutter adds dynamic feel to the shot. PP is superb.

The rest are nice, I don't have much to add to the above posts.

Are you saying that you shot most of this wedding with these lens or just this series?

#3 Isn't that always the case? You capture a nice shot and to only find out you have a lurker in the pic? :D

Just my 2 Cents

that's an easy clone out.

the dress seems blown out in quite a few.

on a side note, how do you feel about your 7d and weddings. And what were you using before it?

Thanks all :)

Suzy I could probably fix the hair in #2, but i'd just outsource it - it takes me too long. The cemetery was their idea, I suggested a more somber look in there. Yeah not sure where she was looking but I can replace her eyes with one from another frame. I kept the sign in the image on purpose, I like it!

I shot most of the wedding with the 7D and 30 F1.4, but I did use the 17-55 and all my other lenses at various times.

The guy wasn't a lurker, he was playing with his kids on the flying fox and ended up helping the bride onto it. I could clone him out but he was there and involved so i'll leave him in!
