Boyfriend does the car thing I take the shots. This was my first time panning...yes I need practice. Some turned out pretty decent though.

Camera: Canon Rebel XT
Lens: Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 Telephoto

4 is pretty nice, stay within 160-300 Shutter speed and once you master that... inch lower.

Also, clean your lens and/or sensor or you will be doing pointless photoshopping!

LOL! Well I was outside for 7+ hours switching between this lens and my 50mm. Dust was bound to get in there. Lens is clean now though!

This was my first time panning so I hope to get a lot better for next race season.
