I have tried this shot before as I thought it was a neat idea, but there was always something "different" about the woman that wouldn't let it work. I finally got someone who understood the concept of the idea enough to keep things the same, to complete the reflection part of the pic and keep it believable. Thanks to Julie for being such a great subject and for putting up with all my direction and keeping the baby in a good enough mood to complete the effect. C&C are requested if you have any ideas that would make the effect more dramatic!

Very interesting idea. At first it kinda scared me, but then it really started to grow on me. Good job in the execution

Too much empty space on the left. I would crop it out so the mirror looks a little bigger somehow.

It'd be better if you had a larger mirror that wasn't slanted, that way your photo could look more symmetrical and maybe more dramatic instead of shrinking into the corner.

Interesting concept... some ways that you can bump up the image is to edit it: Crop in tighter, try a vinette or add texture, change color. See sample I whipped up in about 2 mins:

Thanks for the input guys! I definitely want to get a larger mirror and try this again. I agree with the poster about the mirror being straighter but I wasn't able to get everything in the shot with the small mirror I had to work with when I tried to straighten it up. I like the edit as well. Thanks again.
