Who concepted this? Were they on set for the shoot and guiding the action like,

"no, be even more insulting!"

"White girl, find this funnier!"

She had to be beautiful/huggable/... Having an ugly asian girl would have been too much and would have resulted in a backlash. You wouldn't have stopped and considered the message "Harassment - there is no excuse!" but would instead have gone hunting the people behind the message.
